- Beat
- The world surrounding the event - stay, table, dress, culture, and the week a destination spends inside an occasion
A short description that stays accurate: “Invite Only documents the world surrounding the event - where people stay, dine, and dress, and what the destination feels like during that particular week.”
What we will not do
- We do not sell reviews, stars, or the order of a story.
- We do not publish a stay, a meal, or a night as personal experience if it was not.
- Hosted travel, if it is ever accepted, is disclosed on the piece in plain language.
- A partnership is not an editorial assignment. The two are labeled differently, on purpose.
Complimentary video placements
A glossy breaks the story with a film. Invite Only runs the same unit, labeled Advertisement, and is giving the slot away. There is no fee, and the film is not a review. The piece now in rotation is a sample - Caliste, the Camellia line - so the unit is visible. A hotel, a house, or a cultural partner can take the next one.
Partnerships
Hotels, tables, cultural institutions, and events that already meet the journal’s standard are welcome to write. The interesting note is specific: why this place, why this week, what a reader would not know from the campaign. We are especially drawn to celebrations with a real public life - Carnival, Réveillon, a race weekend, a fashion season - and to houses with a point of view about service.
Hosting, speaking, and on-camera work sit with the editor as host. They are booked separately from the journal, and they are not traded for coverage.
