Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo: A Grand Stay in the Heart of Monte-Carlo
My stay: 22-27 September 2026. A sea-view suite on Casino Square, during yacht-show week, and a hotel that became part of the week rather than a place to sleep it off.

I stayed at Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo from 22 to 27 September 2026, the week of the yacht show. The hotel is on Casino Square. Monte-Carlo was not a car ride away. It was the square outside the door: the Belle Époque facades, the movement of the city, and the sea beyond them.
The room was a sea-view suite, spacious enough that changing for the evening did not feel like dressing in a corridor. What I used most was the terrace. Breakfast was there, with Monaco below, before the harbor. I came back up between appointments, then went down again when it was time for champagne and dinner. The terrace was the pause. The square was the rest of the day.
The rhythm of the week
Show week is not a restful stay, and I did not want it to be. Afternoons belonged to the yachts. Evenings belonged to the square. The staff kept that pace from feeling frantic. They were thorough, polished, and attentive, which is the service I had hoped for and the service I got.
By checkout, the hotel was no longer only a base. It was part of the week I had come to Monaco to have. This is my stay in September 2026. The impressions are from that visit.
My rating: ★★★★★ 5/5
Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo earned five stars from me for the sea-view suite, the terrace above the city, and a staff that kept show week moving without making me feel managed. The suite was exceptionally spacious. It gave me a quiet place over Monte-Carlo, and it made the hotel part of the experience rather than a room I returned to.
